Our journey together began over ten years ago as a classical string quartet. We met while studying at the music conservatorium, quickly discovering a seamless connection—both personally and musically.
This artistic bond laid the foundation for extensive concert tours across Australia and internationally, radio broadcasts, and scholarships from renowned institutions like Yehudi Menuhin’s „Live Music Now“.
As is often the path for successful classical musicians, our careers eventually led us to prestigious professional orchestras worldwide. Yet, the desire to keep our shared passion project alive remained as strong as ever.
To consistently guarantee the highest level of artistic quality and reliability—despite full concert schedules, international tours, and life milestones like starting families—we expanded our ensemble to include a handpicked circle of exceptional fellow musicians.
From this, the Astoria String Quartet was born: a collective of elite professional musicians for events of all kinds.
